The Public Warning System broadcasts announcements and warnings through mosque speaker systems over the radio network already in place, so a national alert needs no separate infrastructure of its own.
It is integrated with NCEMA and controlled entirely by Abu Dhabi Police, with safeguards against unauthorised triggering. It is recommended and used by the Barakah Nuclear Plant.

Announcements reach mosque speaker systems across the existing TETRA and LTE network rather than a parallel one.

TETRA and LTE in the Smart Modem trigger pre-recorded or live announcements over the air.

GPS polling, real-time tracking, map-based DGNA and geofencing direct a message to the sites it concerns.

Controlled and safeguarded
Integrated with NCEMA, controlled by Abu Dhabi Police, and protected against unauthorised triggering.
